We came up with a few names so far...


Girl names: Mikayla, Catalina, Michelle,

Boy names: Lance, Cameron, Benjamin jr. , Alonzo (after my grandfather)


I am leaning towards Mikayla or Lance....Wife loves Alonzo and Catalina

However, everything I have read and been told about the quoted text is that women are infertal for the first few months after they have a baby. Especially if the new mother breastfeeds.

In other news, I am physically and mentally preparing myself for the Sheriff's Academy in October. I have already went out and bought myself a Series 22 Glock .40 (standard issue), and have been hitting the range every other day for accuracy prep...

On a completely unrelated note, I've got bad news for you. I don't have DirecTV anymore, thus I don't have NFL Sunday Ticket this season. When I moved to my new apartment they told me they couldn't set it up because my apartment isn't south facing and the apartment complex wouldn't let them drill... So now I have Comcast and have to watch whatever crappy game is on cable before/after the Broncos. Sorry man, hopefully someone else can hook you up. (me too while they're at it--but at least I don't have to worry about missing any Broncos games because I live in Denver.)

While that is generally true, each woman is an individual....it's not an ironclad rule.

My wife has been asking me when we should start on the second child. We have been told the best time is within the 1st year of your first child, so they are close in age and can have a playmate.

My grandmother said once that in her fertile years, all her husband had to do was hang his pants on the bedrail and she'd be pregnant. I was also like that. I didn't want to have a cast-iron uterus, so after I was done having children, I had it yanked. It was medically necessary, and convenient too.
