Default Plan is to keep Champ Bailey at CB, John Elway says

Rahim Moore is the member of the Denver Broncos secondary most associated with the team's stunning playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens. But Moore isn't the only one who wants to bury that game tape.

Champ Bailey's sterling reputation took a hit thanks to Ravens speedster Torrey Smith, who beat Bailey in coverage several times. Bailey will be 35 in June, and it's been speculated the future Hall of Famer could be shifted to safety in the near future.

Coach John Fox said in January that Denver didn't plan to move Bailey. On Thursday, Broncos executive vice president John Elway confirmed there have been no talks of a position change.

And why wouldn't they? Pick a year when he didn't go to the Pro Bowl and wasn't on the All-Pro team . . .

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.
