Default Server down 7:15am Wed for 20 minutes

    UPDATE 8/26 7:46am:
The same issue that was being worked on Monday that caused some quirky behavior, had the site down for 20 minutes this morning. I am working with the linux admin company to find out why they had the server down.

    -----Mon 2:00 or so-----
If like me, you had the website screwed up, where when you clicked on a link, it asked you to open or save a file, this is what happened.

The linux management company I use is working on an issue unrelated to the main site (it has to do with the underlying webhosting software). Some change they made, messed up the site, and for 5-10 minutes, the website was messed up.

They are still working on the underlying problem, but hopefully, we don't experience anymore issues.

Its fine for me on IE. But on firefox, i keep getting that message.

    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Yes, it happened on anything that loaded a page. Just going to www.broncosforums.com, clicking on "next page" or the page numbers, reply to post, anything.

They still haven't fixed the underlying problem, but as I am off of work today, I will keep an eye on it and hopefully that was a one time thing.

It was unrelated to the browser and happening on both. When it was happening, I tested IE8 and Firefox 3 (maybe 3.5 can't remember what I have) and it was the same problem on both.

The problem was on the webserver not the browser.

If it stll isn't working, it could be a browser cache issue. If you close that broswer window or press CTRL + F5 (at the same time) to do a refresh that doesn't go to the cache.

Happened to me - in fact Tned I sent you two emails, then I decided to log off my computer, and reboot, and things were then fine. I use Firefox.

nice attempt to cover it up with geekspeak T, but anyone who read neuromancer knows what really went down. . . just ghosts in the matrix. . . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Supposedly the server problem they were working on is now fixed (still trying to find out why we had the downtime), so that should have been the last outage related to that work.

Hopefully things will be going smooth for a while. Sometime over the weekend or on Labor day, I will be upgrading vBulletin and some server software (which I didn't get to this weekend). I will try and get my butt up early enough that it doesn't impact too many people.

Once yesterday, and once today, when I did not have any activity on BF for an extended period of time, I was automatically logged off. Before yesterday, I could log on in the morning, and not log off until at night, and whether I had any activity during that period or not, I would not be logged off.

Is there now an automatic log off, based on a certain length of inactivity time?
