Thread: Official Broncos Forums Traveling Jersey updates!

Big update this time! SeeingRed was traveling through Denver and got together with BroncoJoe, PnBronco, MasterShake, and Dogfish. They got some good pics, had a few beers, and legend has it PnBronco took out at least two Flacco banners on the 16th St. Mall, but that's just a rumor...

Just some quick numbers... The jersey has been to 11 different forum members, spent time in 2 countries, 4 US states, and traveled approximately 5,458 miles to date!

Well, the cat has come somewhat out of the bag in the discussion thread, so without further adieu, the update from yesterday's game...

Superwoman, AKA PnBronco, has outdone herself in support of the Traveling Jersey project. She took the jersey to Mile High yesterday and managed to get "a few" autographs on it. Some you can see in the photo above signed in the number one.

The following current and former Broncos handled/autographed the jersey yesterday:

For starters, how about Champ Bailey and John Lynch both autographed it, but they weren't all! There was also Zac Dysert, Britton Colquitt, Matt Prater, Brock Osweiler, Mike Adams, Quentin Jammer, Chris Harris, Omar Bolden, Tony Carter, Kayvon Webster, Montee Ball, CJ Anderson, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Wesley Woodyard, Steven Johnson, CJ Davis, Danny Trevathan, Chris Clark, Julis Thomas, Joel Dreessen, Jacob Tamme, Virgil Green, Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas, Mitch Unrein, Trindon Holliday, Louis Vasquez, Chris Kuper, Tight Ends coach Clancy Barone, and possibly more!

That is a LOT of autographs. Many many thanks to PnBronco and everyone who has taken part so far.

The traveling jersey project is going outstanding so far and it's going to start picking up steam! Next forum member up is BeefStew. Although he hasn't been around he has confirmed that he is still going to take part and he's ready!

I have the Jersey here in Albany NY. It is next to me. As I picked it up it was like waves of mystical energy flowed through me. It is like holding a piece of the True Cross or something. A photo shoot is planned for this weekend

The jersey keeps moving! There was only one jersey pic from BeefStew25 which can be found in the lounge jersey discussion. He did send a few pics of himself with his kids, which are very cute kids, but no jersey so I'll post those in the Post your Pic thread.

And the jersey just keeps rolling along!

Our good friend Timmy! in Montana had the opportunity to spend some time with the jersey last. Trinkets from Dreadnought included the gems posted below and from Dreadnought's daughter the rare single antlered deer!





Timmy! got the jersey up to the reservation for some outdoor time, the jersey was feeling a little too urban after recent trips to Florida and New York, I think it was happy to get back to nature.

Next up is Pudge, get ready!

The jersey has now been to 15 different forum members, spent time in 2 countries, 8 US states, traveled approximately 11,235 miles to date and has been through the hands of 31 present and former members of the Denver Bronco organization!

The jersey keeps rolling...

Since the last update the jersey has been through THREE more forum members: Pudge, Thnikkaman, and SoftSkull.

Pudge, in Vernal, UT, received the jersey from Timmy! along with some great trinkets including some John Elway trading cards a 2011 AFC Champions hat, and a nice drawing of a bear bought from some random guy at a gas station.



Before Pudge sent the jersey on the way to Marion, IA and the waiting arms of Thnikkaman he managed to fit in a pic with a pink dinosaur!



Thnikkaman received the jersey along with some beer, some dinosaurs, what looks to be a wad of ones from the Vernal strip club, a United in Orange towel, and a Peyton Manning bobble head. Quite a trinket haul from the ever generous Pudge!



Thnikkaman set about confusing everyone by parading around in the jersey while wearing a kaleidoscope that can supposedly see the future. Ok, so officially the thing on his head is a head mounted display and the things sticking off of it are used for motion capture.

Thnikkaman then sent the jersey off to Woodland, CA to SoftSkull who wore it to yesterday's game in the Black Hole of Oakland, CA. As of this writing we haven't heard from SoftSkull, i'm sure all is well. There's not a Raider fan in Oakland that could hold his own against Mr. Skull!!

The jersey has now been to 18 different forum members, spent time in 2 countries, 11 US states, traveled approximately 14,917 miles to date, and has been through the hands of 31 present and former members of the Denver Bronco organization!

Can't wait to see those game pictures! Update pending when the photos come in and the jersey moves again!

Time for another official update!

The Broncoforums traveling jersey keeps rolling along. The jersey spent some time with Softskull in Woodland, Ca.

The jersey arrived from Thnikkaman along with a box of Captain Crunch's Crunch Berries, some homemade Thnikkaman beers, a John Elway bobblehead, and an Iowa Hawkeye hat. The beer certainly didn't last long...



Softskull set about getting some good pictures with the jersey while he had it in Northern California, here he is seen in front of a pond of what will eventually be caviar. So, I'm assuming this pond is full of fish.



Here is our hero Softskull along with the only other Bronco fan in Northern California. These two guys, unlike the Raider fans about, know what it's like to cheer for a winner!

Unfortunately Softskull was unable to make the Bronco game in Oakland due to circumstances beyond his control, but he took good care of the jersey and got it on its way to the Netherlands to meet up with Ottokar's son after his return from Afghanistan. The jersey is currently in the Netherlands and we await some pictures from its European vacation!!

To date, the jersey has been through 18 forum members, one forum member's son, spent time in 3 countries, 11 US states, traveled approximately 20,396 miles, and has been through the hands of 31 present and former members of the Denver Broncos organization!

Sorry it has taken me so long to do another official update, I will try to be more regular with them as we wind down the traveling jersey.

It's been an exciting few hops for the Jersey since our last update. Softskull sent the Jersey along to Ottokar Prohaska's son in the Netherlands who took it on his engagement celebration to Morocco. After he and his fiancée had the jersey in Morocco they sent it along to Ottokar in Rochester, NY who then took the jersey on vacation with he and his wife in Panama!

We don't, as of now, have any pictures of the jersey with Ottokar's son but here is one of Otto wearing the jersey in Panama.



This jersey has seen some places lately that I want to travel to, and I don't mind saying I'm a little jealous! After the Panama vacation the Jersey went along to MOtorboat up in North Platte, Nebraska. So, all those nice places, even tropical locations to Nebraska... That's alright, it gets to spend some time with MO which I know we all would like to do at some point!
