Pretty good PPV last night. The first few fights had some iffy officiating, but the Cro-Cop fight and the Liddell/Franklin fight made the whole thing worth it. I didn't think Cro-Cop would win, but he pulled out a surprising win with a frickin rear naked choke of all things. The Liddell/Franklin fight was sad to watch. Liddell came out with purpose. He threw a ton of bombs and even sprinkled in a couple of head kicks (one of which broke Franklin's left arm when he blocked it) and some wrestling. I like Franklin and Liddell both. It was sad to see Liddell lose the way he did, but it was good to see Rich get the KO. Liddell's lip was all kinds of gross after too. Yuck. Good fights though.

It was boom goes the dynomite on Ice Man's face, Ace with a broken arm as well! It almost seemed like Barry did not want to hit Cro-Cop after the first round, like hey buddy good punch, smile, it is a fight, save it for after to be buddy-buddy. But big win for Cro-Cop he need some positive momentum.

Was a hell of a 3rd round from Condit. McDonald has a hell of a future but was getting his ass kicked for 3 mins straight. White said he thought it could of been a draw had it gone to the judges, but ref stopped it and Roy did not seem upset.

TUF Final tonight (Spike) and WEC 49 (VS) tomorrow both on free TV, WIN!

I like Hamill over Jardine and Varner over Shalorus.

Man that was a solid fight between Hamill and Jardine. Kieth got cut right down the forhead lots of blood but was able to finish the fight. Hamill won majority decision, 29-27, 29-27, and 28-28.

The Hammil/Jardine fight probably got fight of the night. I had the Hammer winning that one as well. Jardine has been on a bad streak lately. I was glad to see Cort McGee win TUF. That dude deserves it big time. I think he'll do alright in the middle weight division.

The guy is a large mammal that fights for a living. What, do you expect him to be intelligent and likeable?

Why not? Rich Franklin used to be a high school math teacher. Several others were in the military. A few of them went to Ivy League schools. There are plenty of intelligent, likable people in the UFC. Lesnar plays the role of a WWF heel and it pisses me off. I don't like him or his character and he is bad for MMA, period. Yeah, he's massive and as strong as a horse, but he's a douche bag.

    1. No offense, but brains are not exactly abundant in professional fighting circles. Yes, you may have an occasional smart guy here and there, but, like the NFL, it is made up of big strong quick guys, not rocket scientists. And what is this military thing? Being in the military doesn't equate to intelligence. There are smarties and dummies in there.
    2. Who cares what his persona is? People don't watch ******* UFC for their personalities. Are you serious?? He is bad for MMA? Christ, he is a cash cow, and beyond that is drawing thousands of fans to the spectacle. His job is to fight for a living, not impress Broncos fans on a blog site with his bedside manner.

You're obviously completely unaware of the history and traditions of mixed martial arts and the UFC. No sense in even talking to you.

this is some funny stuff. I remember watching Dan Severn, Royce Gracie and my favorite; Don Frye when I was younger. **** traditions. What are you? Mr. Miyagi? It's people beating the shit out of eachother, and if you really want to get into history and tradition, it used to be you could **** up people worse when they had fewer rules. Sorry if I have disgraced the honor of the sacred art of legal assault and battery by enjoying watching a beast like Brock.
