    no, my friends, thats NOT the sum of money raised for NFL charitiies, or the total of last seasons FINES, its actually the commisssioners SALARY for last season!
    your thoughts?
    CAN WE PLEASE JUST SKIP ALL THE NONESENSE AND JUST TALK FOOTBALL?

    actually... I believe his salary was 3 million, and he received the rest in a BONUS.. thus totaling 29 million.
    (the previous comment was not directed at any particular individual and was not intended to slander,disrespect or offend any reader of said statement)

    Apparently the NFL can afford to pay all of these exorbitant salaries because they are classified as a "non-profit" for tax purposes.

    How in the hell can they get away with that?

    do you think NFL charities raised 29 million dollars last year?
    how much $ went to equipment/ helmet research?
    how much $ went to brain / concussion research?
    how much $ was put aside for player retirement/ health benefits?
    I would bet all those programs combined dont equal 29 million dollars !

    nobody "EARNS" 29 million dollars a year, NOBODY!
    Did he end world hunger, stop a war, figure out a cure for a deadly disease?
    did he stop a bomb from exploding at a hospital or orphanage?
    sure he got paid 29 million dollars but he sure as fudge didnt earn it !
