Been a great series so far so the rubber match should be fantastic. Over 10,000 fans at the Box both games so far. I'd say today should bring a crowd close to around 12,000 weather permitting. Nothing like a rubber match at the Box, one of the best atmosphere's in college baseball. Looking forward to this one nomad, i hope i'm not disappointed.

Gamecocks starting out swinging. Up 2-0

I remember the baseball camps I went to on that field. Skip Bertman was the HC at the time.....playing for him and LSU would have been awesome.

If Joey Pankake hits a homerun it's free pancakes at IHOP.

Today's game was the first shutout LSU's been given and LSU's first losing series of the season. You're Gamecocks came to The Box and did a damn good job. Congrats! We'll see you again in the SEC tourney.

Sometimes these type of games puts a team into a slump, I hope not, but Tigers play McNeese tomorrow.

Y'all play tommorrow? Damn, quick turnaround....

We're finally starting to get healthy again and it's showing. Big series win for them, they needed it. Playing you all again when tourney time comes around would make for some great baseball, i hope it happens.

After the Gamecocks beating LSU 2 games in a row and taking the series, the Tigers have won 3 in a row so it's good to know they didn't go into a slump.

It's going to be hard to sweep the Gators today....game starts in 15 min. on ESPN2. Next series for the Tigers is Texas A&M.

EDIT: Sorry, I looked at the time wrong. It starts in an hour.

We're playing Vandy who's ranked #2. Lost 3-2 yesterday. Really talented team. Their going for the series win today putting their ace on the mound Tyler Beede who's 11-0. Game's on now on Fox SportSouth.
