nah, they're still a pretty soft team. I hope to hell they resign Bick because they need that net presence. BTW... The 'hawks are shopping Bolland around.

The really bad thing is they dont have any big bodies coming up either, the guys that will get a look for next season will be smaller guys like Pirri, morin and Leblanc. The bigger guys like Beach and the Hayes' just don't look skilled enough.

Well, I told you all earlier that Bruins fans wanted to hate the Blackhawks but we couldn't. They are too classy a team. And now I found out that today the Chicago Blackhawks placed a full page ad in the Boston Globe thanking the Boston Bruins and their fans for their class and respect. I don't think I have ever seen this done by a winning team before but It's absolutely incredible.

This is what sports should be about.

I liked Bolland and Frolic a lot. Bickell will be good for us. They seem to think that he's still improving as a player. I think we overpaid, but they don't want to let everyone go.

King... Kane is being investigated for raping a chick in a bar in Hamburg, NY

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The NHL says it is "following developments" of a police investigation involving Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane.

The Blackhawks said they are in the process of gathering information and declined further comment. The Buffalo News first reported the investigation Tuesday.

Neighbors of Kane, who lives in Hamburg, New York, in the offseason, told the Chicago Tribune that police arrived at his lakefront property Sunday night and that several plainclothes officers entered his house using flashlights. At least one wore gloves and was seen taking pictures out front.

Update:

The Buffalo News is now reporting via sources that a “local woman has accused Kane of a sexual assault” and that “the woman went to a hospital and that tests using a rape kit were performed.”

The Blackhawks told the Chicago Sun-Times: “We are aware of the matter and are in the process of gathering information. It would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.”

The NHL told WIVB: “We are aware of a police investigation and are following the developments.”

Kane, of course, has a history of off-ice incidents, the most serious being an altercation with a Buffalo cab driver in 2009.
