Wow, I'm surprised he got scooped up that quickly. Fisher does tend to like those kind of guys on his team though. See: Cortland Finnegan.

'S funny - I read comments something like that about McGahee . . .

Sticking to receivers, Mike Wallace, Dwane Bowe, and Greg Jennings are out there.
This FA looks to be receiver-rich. To me it wouldn't take too many marbles upstairs
to go after a guy like Young. Glad he was apparently grabbed up . . .

I don't think we spend that kind of money. Those guys are looking for big money. Bowe will bring the least of the three. We already had a one and two that are very young. I do see us bringing in someone, whether it be a FA or draft pick but don't see us going overboard. Especially if we keep Stokley.

Not sure it would have hurt to add someone with obvious talent.
Cant have to many weapons.
That being said, find another DT MLB and RB.
I know Young has got some talent however, at this point he is no Superstar.

titus young? more like titus dung. no thanks.
no seriously. We have Decker and the DT. also Willis and Stokely. no malcontents I say, especially if he makes simple mental errors. If we are going to get a running back, I say we draft one. spend early picks on DT, LB and Safety. I think then an offensive tackle
The thread title is once again relevant!

Just nine days after being claimed on waivers from the Lions, the Rams released the talented but troubled second-year player.
"We will be waiving Titus today — this afternoon — so he will no longer be on the roster," coach Jeff Fisher said at a regularly-scheduled news conference. "His agent has been contacted that we’re gonna release him today."
...
"We saw Titus as an outstanding young player," Fisher said. "The things that took place in Detroit were well-documented from the media standpoint. We did not do any background research as far as contacting anybody from Detroit.
Fisher called it an "extended" interview. And by claiming Young instead of possibly competing with other teams for Young had he cleared waivers, Fisher said it allowed the Rams to have Young's undivided attention.
"We just felt like he was not the best option for us at that position," Fisher said. "We went into detail. We felt like we’ve got a good young group, and we feel like perhaps Titus is better suited for another organization."
I'm betting Young made a very negative first impression with HC Fisher. Young probably can't keep his attitude in check and when Fisher saw it he hit the eject button.
