Currently installing fuel injection on the Mustang. Awaiting a new in-tank pump kit to finish it up.

This is the new thing the guys want on their muscle. Had a couple mods here that had some issues with that upgrade.

Yeah, it's definitely not straightforward and requires a pretty decent understanding of how the system works to get it right.

Hence the in-tank pump kit in awaiting. The pump that came with the kit wouldn't really work with my application as, being a pusher pump, it would have to be below the lowest point of the gas tank to work which means it would be dangerously exposed to getting knocked off the car and sending gas everywhere...

    Not a good thing....

This thread is almost as interesting as the Sara -n- Tuned youtube channel. I check both daily.

Fuel injection is in. Running very well. I need to do some final tuning, but I'm impressed so far.

Out with the old, in with the much better!

Once the rear end is complete today this car will be "finished" mechanically. All new front to rear.

As a non mechanical guy, I'm amazed when people can just tear cars down and rebuild them.

It was a butt connector that I had cut off that was on the dash and blew around as we were driving. No biggie.

Done and done. A few laps around the neighborhood... WOW. It's amazing how well she drives, she drives like a modern car. Big fan. The drive ability now built in from the fuel injection and the better rear end.... it truly feels like a new car.

Video will be posted in the near future!

I'm enjoying following the progress of my car, as you finish it, and get ready for your next project.

Only "project" about the next car is paying for it!
