We shall see. All the guys on the job I’ve spoken with say it took them a good 6 months to feel comfortable in the job, but I’m already feeling confident with the robots, etc. I had a good head start of going out and working with the local guy in New Orleans the last few months so I feel like I’m a bit ahead.
Kind of. I hired a specific guy to work on it and agreed on timelines with him, basically 6months because it was sidework at the shop. I gave him $1,000 for materials, he got some work done, and then disappeared. The guy that owns the shop is 83 and works on it when he can but that isn't much. He feels bad because it was his employee that screwed me, but the guy was renting space from Jack and Jack wasn't in on the agreement. Jack and I are good friends and I know he wants to get it done, he just doesn't have the time with his all the trucks he does.
We'll see. He said while I'm out here training he would get the bodywork done and get the door jams, etc painted so we can reassemble and start working on finishingit up
That makes sense.
