Over a 5 game span in 2012. 4 more fumbles in 2010. Go back and look at Adrian Peterson's first couple of seasons. Not saying he's as talented as AP. Just highlighting the point the same thing was said about AP coming out of college and early in his pro career.
Fumbling can be corrected. Having the speed to take it to the house on most any play can't be coached. We need teams to respect our run game just as much as they respect Manning and the passing game.
Whether it's Davis or whomever, our lack of a rushing attack must somehow be addressed.
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
I have no problem with taking Davis, I just caution to be careful what you wish for. A mid-round pick for his upside suits me just fine. Maybe teams could get a few steals in this draft with injury concerns, Davis, Lotulelei, Carradine, Lattimore.
Btw, imo you should go back to Sammie Lee Hill along with Knighton, Fluker is gonna be there too. Bostic, however, may have just worked his way outta the 4th.......
