Who knows. Terrell Owens came back from a fractured ankle to play in a SB too.

******* ridiculous. Here we go again with another stupid PED controversy...Ok, I cant stand Ray Lewis, but busting his chops over deer antler is absolute ******* bullshit...good lord, everybody knows that GH use is widespread and it cant be tested for..guys are juicing all the time. Yes, its a dirty little secret. Its part of the culture and the media and congress need to leave it alone because its not going away..I guess as part of the pussification of modern football, if they can stop all PED use, the game might not be so dangerous...give me a ****ingbreak...sorry, I find this shit ridiculously stupid. Now we have a tainted super bowl over deer antler..
Who cares if someone wants to use deer antler to heal an injury?... where can I buy me some of this deer antler shit? I want to try it myself...must be some good stuff...

Its a "Deer Antler Spray." What is that?

The funny thing is, people will think he used this to "heal" faster from his torn tri-cep. Really? I mean, its not even the spray that is banned, but an ingredient IN the spray that is banned. Now the reason I make the distinction is because it leads to the question, just how much of the spray is this "illegal" substance? What percentage? I mean, if this "magical" chemical is just in the spray, then just how strong is this stuff????? What is it that can heal something to the point that Ray can come back from an injury that would normally keep him out a season???

Isn't it more likely that the "tear" wasn't nearly as bad as previously believed? Isn't it more likely that guys like Ray Lewis can play a very physical sport, at such a high level, in a position that takes a pounding, for so many years, because his body is just better at dealing with injuries than most? Isn't that more likely than believing some magical substance, that is probably just some very small percentage, of a spray....healed Ray twice as fast as normal?

If it was this magical chemical that healed him up faster, than I think they should make the substance completely legal. ANything that can heal people that fast, with such a small percentage within the spray, then we can keep our football players on the field instead of missing time due to torn muscles. In fact, where can I buy this stuff????

HGH is tested for, but IGF-1 and other alternative growth hormone inhibitors are not illegal like HGH. Also, "juicing" refers to anabolic steroids.

I think I am going to become a dealer of Deer Antler spray...No, its a scam...wth, the shit isnt even illegal..why should it even be banned????? ...its like disqualifying someone in the olympics because they drank too much coffee..please

Deer antler contains IGF-1, thats the substance that is banned, not deer antler directly...so he tried to purchase deer antler? so what. Im not even sure that IGF-1 can pass thru the stomach acid and be absorbed into the blood stream. I am pretty damn sure it CANT. As far as I know, Oral adminstering of IGF-1 is a crock of crap and a scam. It has to be injected, just like you cant take oral GH or oral Testosterone. It does NOT work that way.

The worst thing that icould happen, is that this will turn into a major scandal and many players could be brought down over this. That is just ******* wrong..pardon my profanity but this is one of the stupidest things I have seen in a long time...as much as I cant stand ray Lewis, I dont give a rats ass if he takes deer antler

Google deer antler spray..anyone can buy it...Personally, I think deer antler spray is a crock of shit and a waste of money. If I want what they claim deer antler does, I would just get a prescription for GH and Testosterone. Of course, I dont play in the NFL, so I can do that. LOL
Lets hope this stupid story dies a quck death and we can get on with the game...

Oh wait, Flacco just said a cold weather super bowl is "retarded". Oh no, we got a dumb quarterback sticking his foot in his mouth. Controversy persists at the super bowl

Ok, I did a quick review to refresh my memory on the growth factor, IGF-1. Taking it orally is a waste of time. Sorry you were scammed Ray.The placebo effect can be powerful and IF deer antler helped heal his arm, thats why

IGF-1 is a hormone similar in molecular structure to insulin. It is released from the liver and plays an important role in childhood growth and continues to have anabolic effects in adults. ...

Subjects with the lowest IGF-1 function had a significantly higher mortality rate than subjects with the highest IGF-1 bioactivity. These results were especially significant in individuals who have a high risk to die from cardiovascular complications.Elderly men with higher activity of the hormone IGF-1--or insulin-growth factor 1--appear to have greater life expectancy and reduced cardiovascular risk, according to a new study.

I didnt say anything about boosters here . Show me where I said anythig about testosterone potentiators or boosters? They only aid the body in producing it. Exogenous testosterone must be injected mr know it all.

Ok, I have to say something since you have decided to laugh at me. hahahaha Alternative growth hormone INHIBITORS? hahaha...Where can I get some? I want to INHIBIT myself from producing growth hormone bwaahahaha Also, IGF-1 is not an alternative for anything
Your angry attitude gets the best of you again
Also, since you are so damn smart, please tell us how far they have come in finding a viable/reliable test to detect HGH?

I try to discourage this kind of talk, as it can be easily misconstrued by the fairer sex.

Don't be a dick. It's not my fault you weren't being specific originally.
