Last year the Boston Bruins got beat by the Capitals in the playoffs and the winning goal was scored by Joel Ward, an African American. After the game Joel was the subject of many racist angry tweets. People assumed they were from Bruins fans but they weren't. The majority of the tweets were from the midwest. The people who sent them weren't Bruins fans, they were simply bigots.

Just like the people who sent those tweets to Torrey Smith weren't Patriots fans, they were simply idiots. Probably bigots too.

Gamblers who lost money on the games. It wouldn't surprise me if the majority of tweets directed at Torrey Smith and Joel Ward were from people who bet against Both the Ravens and Washington Capitals.

I've never met a Patriots fan who didnt have a sense of entitlement. 9 years since you've won anything significant & you still act like your team is gods gift to the world.
