Going to the library is a ritual for my wife and kids. It’s something fun she does with them on Friday afternoons after school. They check out books, movies, and games. Because the library is only 3 blocks from our house my 12 year old will go over once on the weekends too.

I am thinking about reading Devil in a white City. I am not sure why I am interested in this read, but it is on my Kindle wishlist. Anyone read this? and if so can you provide your thoughts?

So in Endurance, about getting stuck near Antarctica circa 1915, one dude has to get his foot amputated and after the procedure, obviously no anesthetic, he's like...I need a smoke mates...and all was well.

Holy **** the balls of these dudes. New favorite book.

I need a good book now. Was thinking about Clive Barker's books of blood which I missed in my youth, but maybe there is something better and I am not aware?
