    I have that boxset!

I loved it! The TV series is different, but still very very good!

    Eric Northman! Swoon!

    I am reading Shaman's Crossing.

It's Book 1 of the Soldier Son Series by Robin Hobb.

I really enjoy Hobb's work. The tales are well told, and the worlds believable. I've also read some of her work under the pen-name Megan Lindholm. She went to Denver U, CO.

I just finished reading Paul Diehl’s International Peacekeeping since it was a requirement for my thesis writing. Aside from that reason, I’ve grown quite attached to the norms and principles governing international relations and how it affects the actions of states in general. It is very exciting to read.

Got through Forest Mage (Soldier Son trilogy part 2)

Excellent character development as always from Hobb.

Also finished Lady Friday, book 5 of the Keys To The Kingdom series by Garth Nix.

Nix is a very good young adult fantasy writer!

I've finished reading Lonesome Dove. That was a great book. I'll have to watch the movie again now. I wonder if the other books in the same setting are good.

I'm still on the philosophy kick when I listen to Audible in the saddle. I hit Paul Strathern's "so and so in 90 minutes" series a few more times. I found out a little bit about Wittgenstein, Spinoza, Nietszche, and maybe another.

I got a bit into Irrational Exuberance by Schiller but had to quickly drop it. Lameness. I'm too nit picky with statistical arguments. When I am exposed to an argument that is statistically flawed, I don't have enough patience to hear the rest of it.

I have a question--has anyone read "Jonathon Strange and Mr. Norrell"? I want to know if it's good. It got a ringing endorsement from Neil Gaiman, and I like his stuff.

The Warlord Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell. Its a totally different take on King Arthur and a much more adult type of story.

I've read the first 2 of his Harlequin series, and his Stonehenge book too. He is an awesome writer!

I just read Stephen Colbert's book. It was good... took a few chapters to rev it up, but once it got to the good chapters like religion, it was comedy gold. I'd recommend it, depending on how you like Colbert's shtick on his show.

I just picked up the book "Pride And Prejudice And Zombies"

The first line of the book:

"It is a truth universally acknowledged that a zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains".
