what people dont realize is that manning has maybe 2 more years left and he's done. He won't be finishing out his contract. He has to wear a glove in cold weather because of the nerve endings in his hands tingle due to the surgeries. He will always be a liability in cold Denver. This was a golden opportunity pissed away by poor game planning, poor execution and really conservative play calling. The chances were endless to finish this game. 3rd and 7 = run the ball....rush 3 and let a receiver get behind the defense (not even sure how that's mathematically possible)....get the ball with 30 secinds and 2 timeouts and take a kneel down. Sorry that's not playoff football. And tomorrow the Pats will teach Fox what it means to put your foot on throat of an opponent and finish an inferior team. As far as I'm concerned the season was enjoyable but ultimately a ****** waste.

Not many receivers are as fast as Smith. Obviously Champ can't cover the speedsters by himself anymore, but he's still a very effective CB.

I would argue that any season that doesn't end with a championship is a failure.

Well, they gotta do something about that secondary in the off-season. Football season is officially over for me now as I don't care one whit about any of the remaining teams, except I DO NOT want to see the Patriots go to the SB. Now I can concentrate on the Avalanche since the NHL finally got an agreement....it's about damn time.

This is every bit as bad as 1996. Every damn bit as bad, maybe even worse...it happened again

Going to go ahead and seperate myself form the potential mountain of shit talk that is going to rain down in the next few days. I thought you guys had a great season, and didn't see you all going out this way. Next year will be an interesting year. That is all I have to say on this game
