Default Week 9 Picks, Upsets and Tidbits

Here is this weeks slate of games to pick from

    Favorite Line Underdog Not Used
    Carolina (4-4-0) 4.5 Atlanta (2-6-0) None
    Buffalo (4-4-0) 2.5 Miami (0-8-0) None
    Pittsburgh (6-2-0) 9.5 Cleveland (5-3-0) None
    Kansas City (4-4-0) 3.5 Denver (3-5-0) None
    Tennessee (6-2-0) 4.5 Jacksonville (5-3-0) None
    Green Bay (7-1-0) 5.5 Minnesota (3-5-0) None
    Washington (5-3-0) 2.5 Philadelphia (3-5-0) None
    New Orleans (4-4-0) 11.5 St.Louis (0-8-0) None
    Baltimore (4-4-0) 4.5 Cincinnati (2-6-0) None
    Chicago (3-5-0) 3.5 Oakland (2-6-0) None
    Dallas (7-1-0) 1.5 NY Giants (6-2-0) None
    Arizona (3-5-0) 1.5 Detroit (6-2-0) None
    Indianapolis (7-1-0) 3.5 San Diego (4-4-0) None
    Seattle (4-4-0) 9.5 San Francisco (2-6-0) None

My first upset I like it Atlanta plus 4.5 at Carlolina
I like the Falcons to win outright over injured
Panthers who since Vinny got hurt have scored 7 and 7
    the last two weeks..23-17 Atl

I also think the Colts will come back with vengence
over an inconsistent SD team.they will lay 3.5 pts
    and win 28-21 over SD...

I like Cincy to play a tight game with the Ravens
its the bad defense against the bad offense

the Bengals plus 4.5 will lose by 4, 24-20 to Balt
and in the gambling world that is a cover and a win

lastly I think the Giants at home plus 1.5 and their
very good defense will do enough to win 27-23
over a very good Dallas team. Hope its very
windy as that would favor the team with the
better defense and I think NYG has a better
    defense the the Cowboys do.

Now what do you all think and feel free to
flame me... Its all in fun and this is only opinion
    and not gospel.

Also the bonus pick I really like
the Browns to hang tough with
a very good Pitt team getting 9.5 pts

the Steelers are coming off of a Monday night
game vs their Rivals and should
    have a small letdown.

I see the Browns losing by 4

Pitt 28 Cleveland 24 and of course the most important
    thing a cover.

I also like the Giants and Browns covering and I like Detroit to win outright over Arizona.

Bengals get Chris Henry back this week. We will beat Baltimore. Hell, we have the most talented WR in that whole division as our third WR option. Henry was supposed to be drafted ahead of Braylon Edwards that year but he was taken in the second round because (he was uncoachable). Funny now that he is easy to coach but a billion legal issues

Our playoff chances are gone, our tiebreakers are crap, we lost to the Browns. While this season is over for us, the simple fact that the Bengals OWN the Ravens isn't. Bengals by 10.

Heck, since this is just for fun I want the Steelers by 10 or more. The Brownies are not going to run the ball on the Steelers, heck it has been two years since someone has rushed for 100 yards against the Steelers. If you have to be one dimensional against a team that is as defensively talented as the Steelers you are in trouble.

The Browns are going to get trampled.

I think this game is going to make Brady Quinn happy that he is riding bench.

You think so? I think we have improved alot since we last faced them.

I say we get revenge and win 35-28.

You think the Giants have a better D than the Cowboys?? Med... I want what you are smoking.

Esco and CR... I must completely disagree with you. Having watched the way both teams played us, and just watching them play in general, the Steelers are probably going to rip them apart. The Steelers are far and above the best team in the division this year, and probably 3rd best in the Conference(by a smaller margin than many people will give). The Browns will hang closer than they did the first game, kind of hard not to, but they will not come very close in general.

sorry my brown friends, but i see almost the same outcome as the first game.

Pitts will just be too much.

I also see cinn roasting the brids

and upset special of the week:

rams over the saints-call me crazy, but i think rams take this one 28-24.

I dont like that either as NO is my 2nd fav team.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

bengals45615648654561 have you watched the Giants play this year?

the have a sick defensive line and can sack just about anyone.
Their defense is better than Dallas' stats prove that

After week 2 they have only given up 79 pts in 6 games and 2
of those tds vs the pathetic NYJ were on returns.

I am just debating with you, its an opinon and they way I pick NYG will probably give up 30 and get smoked

I think they can win this game. Romo has struggled on the road at times
and NYG can apply pressure to him.
They have 29 sacks in 8 games. Very good d line.

Its not like I think Dallas is bad. I just do not see them going 14-2.
This is one of the games they lose on their way to a 12-4 season IMO

I think the Browns have a legit shot in this game
as long as Anderson does not throw any pics

a clean game and they can beat a Pitt team
coming off of a short week and an emotional
    win over their hated rivals..

I am pulling for you as I picked Cleveland
    in both pools I have.

I understand the pass rush, but I have more faith in the Cowboys at defending the pass once it gets in the air, and in their LB's. Besides, the Cowboys have a nice pass rush themselves. That said, I really despise the Giants so I am hoping to hell that the Cowboys win lol.
