Thread: malware report

Hey Tned, getting a malware warning when trying to view page 201 of the beer thread. Thinking maybe an ad or something.

Usually it's an ad that causes these things. I'm sure Tned will check it out and let you know.

Maybe it is my link to the United States of Beer post. If it is, feel free to delete the link.

I'm on my phone, but will try and check. That error says forums.DenverBroncos.com, so that means on that page someone has a link to them or a picture hosted at db.com, which currently has a Google alert.

It may be my old signature Tned.

EDIT: I deleted all of my sig pictures. My old 'youth movement' sig was from the db.com.

Yea, it was probably your Sig. The other times this happened it was an image hosted on a suspect site.


Is the warning still coming up? I'm on my phone and can't check (won't be home for two more hours) I did try with my mobile chrome, and there was no warning, but I'm not sure if it was happening with mobile chrome or only the desktop version before.

Yea, that's why Google had them listed as a suspect site (or something like that) and any pages on BF with links to BC, will get that chrome warning until BC is off of Google's list.

Yea. That was just a warning because there was a link back to Broncos Country, in the above message, probably because of jhildebrand's sig hosted on BC.

BC is no longer getting a warning when you google it, so whatever it was has been cleaned up, but it might take a while for everything to settle out with the chrome and other warnings.
