Thread: i just checked out the old boards at BM...

i figured i would take a few minutes and see whats up at the old site sincei havent actually been there snoopin around for a while.

I gotta say that board sucks now! seriously. There might be more going on over there then here, but it seems like every thread over there is "why is the team so bad." "whats going on with the team?" "you are all fairweather fans"
etc.

I saw atleast 5-6 threads of the same thing. There are also a ton of newbies (which is not by anymeans bad mind you. it just seems like almost a completely new place, a full remake of BM.) There werent very many posters with over 500 posts to be seen either.

Not really sure where i am going with this, or what it has to do with anything. I just thought i would let it be known what i had seen.

It sucks there with all the noobs - I posted the same thread about picking up another QB due to Jay's injury and the first 6 or so posts people were flaming me and freaking out, calling me a liar, telling me I should be banned etc - i then posted the QUOTE that shanny had just made that day about looking for another QB, just in case - some poster laughed and told all the others how I just owned them all but I never got a real response the way I did in this forum - the way I would have over at BM before all the changes

I find it hard to believe that some of the vets that havent made it here are actually enjoying it there with all the crap that flies around

yea they are all jumping on a bandwagon its ridiculous so i posted a thread saying we should screw the team over just cuz they are all like that and i get "we dont want to replace jay or anything we are gonna win the super bowl" when all of their threads are like 1-800-PLUMMER and get rid of jay and the worst pick ur bandwagon team

IMO i find it quite embarrassing - i would always chuckle at other teams boards due to their immaturity - Soon enough BM will start banning people just because they are fans of a rival team

I wonder if Steve and the brains behind the change ever envisioned such a cluster ____ over there - but from their stand point all they prolly care about is how many people see their half naked cheerleader ads (which is ironic given the COC)

I go over there as much as I'm here. There is a big roster change though.
You can find some reasonable threads at times.

I like it a lot more over there when the team is losing....the threads get more entertaining.

what i miss the most is the other teams members comming over to talk/smack. Like you said OB, the other teams site you went to were immature and now ours is, it just sucks. I wish they knew a little to come over here. I liked to smack them. oh-well

the avs would be good, but i am not a message board hopper, I am here and at the old one still i guess. I dont want to sign up somewhere else.

I just hope we can push for a wildcard spot, there is not many good afc teams this year except the powerhouses, if we keep playing good we should clinch a spot. Im thinking a 9-7 team will make the wildcard this year in the afc...maybe 8-8 its that weak this year.

i think it can happen, i really do. Anderson,lewis and edwards are just tearing it up. the defense isnt on par, but who cares when you score like 40 pts. maybe i should be a closet brown fan so i can talk sh1t to someone.

Not with the current mods but sooner or later they (you) will move on and they will have to find new mods and look at what they have to chose from

The reason the board was so darn good for all these years was the fact that the mods had control of the situation and they had people that were decent enough to control - people who would listen (most of us ) when a mod asked politely for you to stop doing something - or posters who wouldnt flip cause you merged their thread with 5 others on the same topic but their's wasnt headlining anymore, etc....

Im sorry LT but I dont see how things are not getting overwhelming for you guys there - so many new people and everyone making threads about the same thing all day - I dont know how you guys do it anymore, I really dont

I just wish you all would come over here and we could go back to the way things USED to be but times change and people chang and boards change -

I think Broncomania has a lot of good things going for it, but it also has it's disadvantages. I don't know how many "Come back!" messages I need to get to make me jump ship over there.
