Klatt was mediocre at best IMHO. Everything since has been so putrid that he might look great in comparrison but he wasn't.

Mike MacIntyre, Colorado's newly-hired football coach, had his contract approved Wednesday by the university's board of regents.

In addition to the 5-year, $10 million contract announced at Tuesday's news conference, MacIntyre can earn an additional $300,000 annually in incentives based on the off-field performance of his players.

He can earn up to $100,000 each for academic progress, welfare and development of the student-athletes and outreach, culture and reputation of his players on campus.

All Klatt did was hand off to Purify and Brown or play action to Graham and Klopenstein (sp). He wasn't terrrible but I agree with Chazoe. Compared to the last few QBs.....

Mullen High defensive end Timothy Coleman has decommitted from Colorado State and given a verbal committment to sign with Colorado, Buffstampede.com reported Friday night.

Coleman, a 6-foot-3, 246-pound two-star recruit, made the decision after his official visit to Boulder last weekend.

"I am now committed to CU," Coleman told the website. "It was just an overall better place for me. Really everything about CU impressed me. I really like the academic aspect of it. Their academics are amazing. They have so much help and support."

Keeping the local kids home is always nice, but Colorado needs to be keeping the likes of Chris Fox and Mitchell Parsons home (four star kids heading off to the Big Ten and SEC).

CU has only two of the top 11 recruits in Colorado committed to staying home (and that includes Coleman). That's just not good enough.
