I like our match up with Michigan. KState/Oregon, Clemson/LSU, and Oklahoma/A&M look like good match ups as well.
How did N.Illinois and Louisville get BCS bids? Not complaining....just wondering.
Louisville was the Big East champion and the Big East is a protected conference until the new playoff system begins. Northern Illinois gets in under the Boise rule of the highest ranked school from a non-BCS conference if it gets into the Top 16.
Under my old eight-team conference-champions-only* playoff system, we would have mid-December matchups of:
#21 Louisville at #1 Notre Dame*
#19 Boise St. at #2 Alabama
#15 No. Illinois at #5 Kansas St.
#12 Florida St. at #6 Stanford
* - Independent Notre Dame is treated as a conference unto itself.
If there were no upsets, the semi-finals played in two major bowl venues would be a rematch of Stanford vs. Notre Dame and Kansas St. vs. Alabama.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
The KState game looks like the best one on the bill.
we bowl a long season. starts the first wednesday of September and every wednesday night until around the beginning of May.
it can be pretty rough especiially coming off of the holidays and into Feb and March. Injuries can and do take their toll. you can take a night off, but you really should call the captain to let him know 24 hours before 6:30 wednesday night. yoiu really should at least make some type of concerted effort to contact someone from your team.
