Thread: Good/Bad movies I've watched lately.

  1. #1

Default Good/Bad movies I've watched lately.

I've been looking up some older movies (and a few new) that I probably should have watched already.

    The Good:

    Leon the Professional
    Dr. Strangelove

    The Bad:

    The Campaign
    Dark Shadows

    In Process:

    The Usual Suspects
    A Clockwork Orange

    Waiting to be watched:

    Casablanca
    Momento
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
    Network
    Primer
    Prometheus
    Rock of Ages
    Seconds
    The Number 23
    The Paper Chase
    The Prestige
    The Raven
    The Shawshank Redemption
    Vanilla Sky

What is Leon the Professional? Is that the one with Natalie Portman? If it is, I thought it was just The Professional.

I had to look it up. It's called both, but mainly in the US it's only "The Professional". You're right, though, same movie.

I really liked it. It didn't feel like it followed the same old basic predictable plot that a lot of movies have. It was very interesting. I can't really point out any negatives about it.

It's awesome. Another one I like a lot too is The Replacement Killers

    Rock of Ages blows.

Can't believe you haven't seen Shawshank, Monty Python or Casablanca.

I figure I'd try Rock of Ages. I can see myself giving up after a few minutes into the movie.

You'd be surprised at the number of movies I haven't watched. I'm going to try and get caught up eventually.

Cant wait to see the new Red Dawn. I know the story strays from the original but I still wanna see it.

I've been trying to find a copy of 1984, but can't. I kept coming across Red Dawn while looking for it, that's what made me think of that.
