I'd give it a solid 7/10, was good not great, with a fresher take then some zombie films made today - reminded me more of 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later, not as graphic but scale and scope of the zombie hordes are impressive though the CGI at times is telling. My favorite among the genre is still Land of the Dead which I gave a 9/10, but WWZ is worth watching.

How was WWZ a Dime Piece? I said it was good not great, the uncut version is actually better then the theatrical release, to it's credit it starts fast, the acting was solid as well but what does kill it IMHO is the overdone CGI at times it was on par with Syfy Channel originals, if not for that and a bit more suspense then I would have given it a higher score. Since I like zombie films I own it, but it's not as good as those I consider as pinnacle achievements of the genre.

Tough couple of days to keep up with all the nerd conversations when I've never seen any Back to the Future or Star Wars films.
