    Default Buff's Elitist Movie Review Thread

    This is a thread where we attempt to identify movies that don't suck.

    As such, Mastershake, Northman and MO are not allowed to post in here. Nor is anyone who has ever enjoyed a movie based on a comic book.

    So please, no reviews of sequels. No musicals. No animated movies. No chick flicks. No sci-fi. No fantasy. This is for the cream of the crop only. There are other threads where you can go slumming for the latest Avengers 27 review, or to hear about Star Wars episode 13b.

    So... Who'd like to get things kicked off?

    But what does "good" mean?

    You have already excluded some movies that are widely considered to be top 50 best of all time.

    Sin City was based on a comic book/graphic novel. That movie was fantastic. I bet you're the type of guy who likes Capote.
