Thread: Von Miller comes through with huge day for Broncos, nets three sacks

CINCINNATI — If this keeps up, Broncos linebacker Von Miller may someday be considered for a spot on "Dancing with the Stars."

With a career-best three sacks Sunday, the second-year pro showed once again that he is well on his way to becoming a star, with nine sacks at the season's halfway mark. And he's getting a lot of practice of late with the dancing part.

One of those here Sunday was a spin move on the ground. That may have spotlighted Miller's athleticism as much as any blitzing maneuver around an offensive lineman.

It's going to be interesting next week against the Panthers to see if the pass rush can repeat.

I wanted to draft Dareus we didn't and when it explained why they chose Miller I was good to go.

Rookie year - Beast pass rusher.

Second year - Beast pass rusher with insane speed and no longer overpursuing the run;instead, blowing up runs in the backfield.

Third year - ?? I imagine he's only going to get better in pass coverage.

Every year after that - Completely filthy on the field.

It is great to see him get better in all areas game after game.. love this kid.
