This. It seemed more like an episode of an older-style television series where each episode tells it's own mini-story utilizing known and recognizable characters.
In contrast to the newer style of serialized chapters of a long-running story arc that we're all becoming used to (Breaking Bad, Sopranos, Stranger Things etc.).
Maybe it's just a pause in the story, but it reminded me quickly of a formula (a formula I liked when I was a kid. . .but I was 8). The formula that productions from "The Incredible Hulk", to "Quantum Leap", "The A-Team", "The Equalizer", even "Knight Rider" followed. Hero moves from place to place, or job to job, each stop/episode encountering someone who needs help, solving their problem and then moving on again. . .
If it becomes that, could it still be good? Yes. But it would be a downgrade from the direction the show started moving in the first 3 episodes.
I think the best TV shows can combine a serialized story with one off episodes mixed in. A show like The X-Files might be the greatest example ever of this. They were masterful at weaving in "monster of the week" episodes in with the overarching government conspiracy storyline.
So if that's the direction this show takes, I think that's a huge plus.
Baby Yoda scene redone with some Devin Townsend added. Still love that scene a lot. Lol
Just finished rewatching rogue one on Disney+ God it's just perfection. No matter your feelings on everything since Jedi, that was a masterpiece.
So this new character is Yoda, but when he's really young?
