I was there in the beginning when it all started with the original film. But all the new Star Wars anything just sickens me.

...I was once very strong with The Force but all the new SW anything is simply trash. Even The Prequels I see them in a new light, they are masterpieces in comparison. Just. Weak. Sauce.

    All IMO.

I’m holding out hope for some redeeming qualities in the next movie, and while I think the new movies are OK they don’t carry the same nostalgia as the originals or prequels for me. I miss when they were every three years and didn’t seem like pure fan service. Some cool moments in the new flicks, but I miss the world building of 1-6.

After shitting on Lucas and the prequels in the last 2 movies, itís weird that suddenly anything Sith related is back on the table. Iím worried that this movie will now try and please ALL fans and end up not making anyone happy. I want it to be good so badly but I think The Last Jedi effectively reset the story instead of setting up a satisfying conclusion. Hope to be proven wrong.

This is pretty much like all of the NFL teams using alternate home and retro uniforms for the sole purpose of squeezing just a little more money out of the pockets of the fans.

So Iím walking through a Star Trek museum and thereís a documentary going about how socially groundbreaking it was and it reminds me of what the reaction has been to SW (which is pathetic) ... hopefully weíve come this far in 40 more years.

What is pathetic exactly, which reaction?

My buddy, from Alaska, is probably one of the biggest Star Wars fans. He always has funny memes.
