I was there in the beginning when it all started with the original film. But all the new Star Wars anything just sickens me.

...I was once very strong with The Force but all the new SW anything is simply trash. Even The Prequels I see them in a new light, they are masterpieces in comparison. Just. Weak. Sauce.

    All IMO.

I’m holding out hope for some redeeming qualities in the next movie, and while I think the new movies are OK they don’t carry the same nostalgia as the originals or prequels for me. I miss when they were every three years and didn’t seem like pure fan service. Some cool moments in the new flicks, but I miss the world building of 1-6.

After shitting on Lucas and the prequels in the last 2 movies, it’s weird that suddenly anything Sith related is back on the table. I’m worried that this movie will now try and please ALL fans and end up not making anyone happy. I want it to be good so badly but I think The Last Jedi effectively reset the story instead of setting up a satisfying conclusion. Hope to be proven wrong.

This is pretty much like all of the NFL teams using alternate home and retro uniforms for the sole purpose of squeezing just a little more money out of the pockets of the fans.

So I’m walking through a Star Trek museum and there’s a documentary going about how socially groundbreaking it was and it reminds me of what the reaction has been to SW (which is pathetic) ... hopefully we’ve come this far in 40 more years.

What is pathetic exactly, which reaction?

My buddy, from Alaska, is probably one of the biggest Star Wars fans. He always has funny memes.

I'm trying to figure out what the smaller object is in the photo.

This is my prediction for episode IX. Enjoy.

*Rey is Obi-Wan Kenobi's granddaughter. Rey Kenobi.

    * Yoda has a new force power and he uses it to bring Luke Skywalker back from the dead. (Luke jumps out from the force ghost.)

*Battle of Force Ghosts. (Yoda vs. Emperor)

Luke Skywalker and Rey will have a big lightsaber battle against Kylo Ren and his dark knights. (2 vs. all)

Emotional moment: Leia gives Han Solo's gold medal to Chewbacca. (Chewbacca didn't receive a gold medal in episode IV.)

That's it for now. Feel free to share your predictions. Cheers!

My predictions based of the new canon novels and shows that have taken place during the same time period:

    • Kylo Ren and/or Rey are drawn to the Unknown Regions (talked about in the books more and more now) to find something, possibly Palpatine's "ghost"
    • It has been established now that powerful Sith are drawn and chained to things they treasured in life and forced to be bound to them with their spirit. This could easily be the Emperor's throne in the sunken Death Star, and these dark spirits can actually jump into living beings to live again or manipulate the Force to create life if a vessel is close enough. This could easily be the reason Kylo is drawn on his quest with the Knights of Ren.
    • The Sith Troopers that were leaked recently have been hiding in the Unkown Regions and working for the true remnants of the Empire since the battle of Endor amassing a fleet. Palpatines final gambit in case he was defeated which he could've planned for.

I'm still not sure about Rey's lineage, I think it would be cool that if like Anakin she was born of the Force being manipulated like Anakin (possibly by Palpatine as mentioned above!) but as far as this being the end of the Skywalker saga I think that has to do with Luke, Leia, and Kylo who are all Skywalkers.
