Yes yes, i know.
Like all things entertainment, movies are very subjective and this list is nothing different. But then this list certainly comes off more as pandering than actual "greatness". Are a majority of these movies more for critical thinking while viewing? Yes. But are they really considered entertaining when it comes to being the best which i believe is the difference between "important" and "great". Doubtful.
Ive already made it my mission to start putting my list together as to what is the 50 BEST films this century so far rather than "important" films based on social dynamics.
Feel free to spit out some movies you think would make the 50 and give me your thoughts on whether you agree or disagree with the concept of this list vs what might be your own.

I currently have gone up to 2010 so far and will finish going through 2011-current day when i get back. I have 24 movies already to make my own list of "Best" of this century. However, would love to get some input from you all on films that are on standby right now. Let me know if you feel any of these films definitely deserve to be in the list and/or give me any recommendations of films you think deserve to be there. Doesnt matter the genre.
