We even watched TFA on Christmas night because my daughter's Xmas present, a sphero BB-8 reacts to the movie if you turn it on while you're watching it. It was actually kind of cool.

Anyway, I agree that the best thing about TFA is that it brought a new generation of kids into the Star Wars nerd community.
Yeah, I'm hard on Star Wars because I love it. Kids just like it for what it is, they won't become an jaded asshat like me until they are much older.

One thing I don't want to do is be like those guys at Red Letter Media. I don't mind them ripping apart the prequels but they act like the original trilogy is an untouchable masterpiece. Their latest review of Rogue One was that it relied too much on tying into the old trilogy. Are these guys serious? If any movie should do that it should be Rogue One! I swear people bitch just to bitch anymore.

I just hate the assumptions people make in the media. Every time I see a Star Wars article they pander to the OT fans and older fans by ripping into the prequels right away even if they have nothing to do with the story. Same thing with anything DC puts out right now. I just don't give a crap anymore. I will gladly watch every Star Wars movie and Batman v Superman as much as I damn well please!

Yeah, the production values on some of them are insane:

They played this at the Alamo Drafthouse (theater) prior to the feature. Entertaining!

    The sentence would seem singular.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

What difference would that make to the context? Either way, there will be no more.

I love star trek though so this should be as good as wrath of Kahn

In that context it would mean that either Luke is the last Jedi and Rey will start a new order, or that the entire idea of the Jedi (plural) is ending, or it could mean Luke and Rey are the last Jedi, or maybe there are Jedi scattered that Luke had trained when he tried to restore the Jedi order that Kylo is hunting down to draw him out of hiding. I think we are going to see that Luke went back to the first Jedi temple for a reason, perhaps to see how the founders meant for things to be run before it became the dogmatic theolgoy we saw in the Prequels. There are several ways it could go based on what the title is actually referring to which is why it's such a good title. So are we talking about Luke being the last Jedi, are we seeing the fall of the Jedi, or are the Jedi as we know it reverting back to or evolving into something new? It matters because we all know that Star Wars titles can mean anything... form a certain point of view.

That ranks as one of my favorite movies. Did you ever see the original TV episode with Kahn?
