My take on Fury Road is that its a feminist movie and falls in line with a lot of what we are seeing now with Hollywood following a trend. With that said after having watched Fury Road a gazillion times ive found a way to actually navigate it on how i feel it matches with the rest of the series and its quite simple for me. Its not a Mad Max movie, its a Furiosa movie. Much like how Rogue One isnt specifically a SW movie (in terms of the same characters) but what i would call a side quest. Max is there but only in name. Whether or not the movie would have turned out different had Gibson returned no one really knows but the movie was meant to be a feminist take on it.

So with that approach i was able to distinguish it from past Mad Max movies and realize that its only part of the MM universe not a straight take on the character. And with that Fury Road becomes highly enjoyable when i realize what the movie is really aiming for with its characters.

This is quite valid I did the same and it becomes a enjoyable movie, once realizing Max was simply a side note.....

OH! And if you want to buy tickets before they go on sale today at 10AM MST, the Artist Presale code is ALAMO (seriously). I got 3 floor level for $66 which is worth it to me. They also have meet and greet packages.

Also I meant 35th Anniversary! Where does the time go...

I want to make sure Abe gets the credit he deserves. Besides, there's no way I'd have Toy Story on a list before Akira, Miyazaki, or the Train Your Dragon movies. Although...

You don't like Juno? I liked it. Maybe doesn't make a list, but if Juno and I leave the bar together...

New Mandalorian episode was great. Bill Burr played a good scoundrel, actually. Really liked how they showcased all his skills this time.

After seeing this episode, I'm convinced that was Boba in the last shot on Tatooine. NO WAY they are doing a show about Mandalorians without the most famous one.

So...this is the moment when the four-hour 2am ThighMaster infomercial cuts off and we return to our regularly scheduled programming?

That’s an old list by the way and Juno would be ranked higher now.

    I believe I'd rather shingles 10x than a penis parasite. #pain
