    Default Tebow patents Tebowing

    Pathetic. . . . .

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Surely many of Tim Tebow’s legion of followers have suggested the Jets’ backup quarterback’s patent Tebowing, his signature prayer.

Apparently he's done exactly that, applying for and a trademark and being accepted by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office – although he actually seemed surprised when told Friday.

“It did?” Tebow laughed. “I knew that this stuff that had been talked about, but I didn’t know everything had gone through.’’

Yeah god forbid someone make money off something involving their name that the media mentions all the time. What a scumbag.

I don't exactly know how this can be done unless the trademark is for calling it by that name. If someone wanted to market it as "tebowing", I think he has the right to do that since it is his name. It certainly can't be as extensive as praying on one knee since many, many others have done this before Tim came along.

If it's defined in a broader sense than that, imagine the royalties Monica Lewinsky could make for every time someone gave a Lewinsky.

you do realize that Tebow trademarked it because apparently a couple fans tried to trademark it before he did.

There is a meteor shower supposed to happen around Orions Belt. I looked up to see where Orions Belt was located and noticed the urban dictionary meaning of Orions Belt

if you look at ebay there are people selling t-shirts and stuff with the image and words "tebowing" etc...
he was probably heavily coached by his agent and or advisors to get the patent in case he never signs a big contract

Dude is a whore to the core. Only Tebow could patent something mankind has been doing for thousands of years and not be labeled a huge ****** doosher. Is genuflecting taken?

    Btw, isn't lying a sin?.......

IIRC he specifically said he has no plans to profit off the trademark, and only got the trademark to prevent 2 other fans from trademarking it
