Default Champ Bailey glad Broncos can finally finish a comeback

SAN DIEGO — Finally, Champ Bailey can stop talking about the comebacks that weren't.

The Broncos lost three games this season after fourth-quarter rallies fell short. Perhaps those losses to Atlanta, Houston and New England made Monday's 35-24 win in San Diego even sweeter.

"The funny thing is was I knew we'd put some pressure on them in the second half," Bailey said. "But to this extent? It makes me smile to know we can do it."

Bailey said the Broncos made defensive adjustments to bring more pressure on San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers after halftime, a change that resulted in four second-half sacks, two interceptions and a fumble by Rivers.
