Yeah, I thought they came out flat to start the third. I've never been a big fan of hockey teams sitting on a lead. Gotta keep that pressure up. Although, that first goal the Kings scored was a straight up sniper shot. No goalie in hockey would've stopped that shot.

It felt good. Their goalie had too many amazing saves. Glad the wrap went in.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I love how Landy put in the dagger moments after such a terrific save. In the moment of exaltation comes the blade... Cold ass blade!

I could not believe that first save. I was MC-ing on Clubhouse and I shoulted when it happened. Ooops!

Landy's OT winner looked like he channeled his inner Peter Forsberg with that pass between the legs to himself.

Last night's game was super frustrating to me and perfectly supports what everyone has been saying about goaltending being the Avs' weak spot. The Avs outplayed the Ducks by a lot except Gibson kept Anaheim in the game whereas Grubauer wasn't up to it. As great of a GM as Sakic is, not pursuing goaltending was a mistake. They're strapped money-wise, but they should've figured it out.

The last 5 minutes have been insane. Glad I got to watch this. So happy to see EJ again.

Great game last night. I sent my uncle about half way through the first talking about how frustrating it was watching this super talented team play without any aggression or hunger. Then they scored three goals in three minutes and I ate my words.

So the Avs traded Ian Cole for this other guy, who they then waived and signed to the taxi squad. The top six D-men now are Makar, Toews, Sammy, Byram, EJ, and Graves. That's a ******* defense right there.

Yeah it was really weird. I went back and re-watched the last five minutes or so of the second period to see if I could find a time when Mack looked like he got hit or hurt but couldn't ever find anything. Hopefully they held him out of the rest of the game as a precaution, but the Avs cannot afford to lose Mack.
