This will be the toughest game of the series for us. Kadri made the trip to Tampa! So we will have him tonight or weds most likely. Could also be to celebrate with the boys assuming we do not need to bring the series back here. Burky made the trip too, but a day late. I presume he is game time (but will play?). Ive been sick so havent kept up much.

Avs win 3-1 tonight in a close game score wise like game 1, but really not close game wise like game 2.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

almost go time, and you know they'll come out desperate in front of their home crowd. . . won't matter at all if the avs are skating like they did last game, though. . . should be a wild first period. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Bah, our offense just isnt clicking tonight. Kind of figured we would give up this game.

Maybe the Avs are waiting til the 3rd to make the comeback so that it will be soul crushing for the Lightning. Lol

Lightening seem to have figured out all those problems we were hearing about. Avs will need to bring it Wednesday or this will get even more dicey

Let me add this. All the pressure is on the Avs. As the pressure mounts, and we all know it will; goalies will start to matter more, as will experience. Both teams got a blowout and both got a close game that the was decided in OT. I do believe the Avs losing the series hurts more than the Lightening losing the series

Had that first goal not been waived off (right call, but it sucked), I think the game would have had a different outcome.

I dont know, the offense just didnt seem the same as it was in the last game. Passing was sloppy and Tampa's defense was much better this game than last. I still have hope that the Avs can get it done but i think the longer the series goes the tougher it will be on them. I think whoever wins game 4 wins the series, just a feeling on my part.
