I'm so freaking excited for the game tonight. There is nothing in the sports world that comes close to NHL playoff hockey. I expect the Flames to come out like gangbusters tonight and be very physical, so the Avs need to be ready for that and not let the Flames push the pace or win the physical battles.

This will be the best game the flames will play. We cannot sit back and try and weather the storm. We need to set the tone immediately.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I have been unable to focus on work today, hence my ever-increasing presence here today. Only 5.5 more hours until faceoff. Dammit.

It's all I can think about. I drove by the neighborhood rink and wondered if I should join an over 40 beginner's league...

I just might pay to see that.

    Maybe $1.00. Maybe even $1.50.

    The rink near University?

That would be southsubruban ice rink, aka littleton ice rink. Right by southglenn mall. And I think you are right. The only other rink close is Ice Ranch near County Line and Broadway.

If you do decide to do that Hawg, lets go hit the ice for a stick and puck. Ill help get you up to speed.

The other option is the one on S. Peoria where the Avalanche occasionally practice. Family Sports Center?

Other than southpark business area and Mclellan reservoir, I had no idea anything was between those two places... huh.

But back to topic... There's rumors of the flu going through the avs (thanks Brassard!) that we might see a game time decision of one of our forwards...

Nah, that one is not in littleton. The one you are talking about is where I play. But there are tons of options. Edge, Foothills, apex, du.

Way ninja, Hawg- that is Ice ranch. It is where countyline bbq used to be. Behind the Office depot- sort of.

Avs look good. Physical. Mack is a one man show. Need to get up by two before I feel comfortable.
