Cale looked incredibly surprised that one of the best players on the planet, sniffing a hat trick, dropped a pass to him at the circles... he bobbled it a bit, but man, the hand eye coordination was a thing of beauty and ripped a surprisingly fast 5 hole shot with a short stroke.

I wasn't sure when they got to 48,000, but the extra 8k paid off.

Avs bitchslapped the Flames, so nice.

That was by far the most complete game the Avs have played all season. What an incredible game. Tomorrow night is going to be interesting.

I really liked what I saw from Makar. He looked good. His skating and stick-handling skills are fantastic. It was awesome hearing the crowd chant his name and go bananas for him. That kind of support had to make him feel great.

Oh, and last night my opinion of Kerfoot was further cemented. Get him off of the first line. I really, really think Jost could do some damage on the first line as a winger.

I agree. I also wouldn't mind seeing JTC get some first line time too.

But honestly, if the Flames keep giving a ridiculous amount of space up, it's going to be moot who is on what line...

JT has been a damn wrecking machine for this series. Of all the players on team if I had to pick one to say I was most impressed with, it would be JT.
