Presidents baby! 1st trophy, still need a couple more this playoff run!
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I caught some of Ryan Harris, Scott Hastings and Josh Dover on Altitude radio this morning, and Scott was not happy with the way some of the teams had been scheduled in the playoffs. He said with the Avs playing St Louis, and Vegas playing the Wild in the first round, two of the best teams will be out. He also suggested this will help some of the Canadian teams to stay in the race, and wondered if that is why the schedule was the way it was.

During my skate last night someone said that after the first round it is no longer interdivisional, which I had not heard. If what they said is correct, assuming we make it out of the first round we may not see the winner of the other series at all. Apparently, if so, the seeds reset completely and we could play someone like chicago for example. I have no clue if that is how they are doing things this year I have not looked. But that is really interesting if its true.

Also St. Louis is real cocky right now. They are on a hot streak of coming back late in games being down and winning. They seem to think this is like their cup year where they were the worst team in all the league and then turned it on and came back. O'reilly had a few comments or two. I do not expect them to say "oh we are in trouble" but they made it sounds like they were going to take us in 5 games.

I hope the avs saw this and bring out their brooms. The blues are dirty. Dirty dirty team. We need to sweep them up!

Ok, great. So the re-seeding comes into play during the Semi finals.

Teams I do not want to play:
    Vegas
    Toronto
    Oilers

Chances are we will have to knock 2 out of those 3 off to get to where we belong!

Dang, me neither, but they are going to have to go for it, if they want to win it all. I'm just happy that they've done what they have in a pretty short time.

You think she has diseases now or what? This seems a no-brainer.

Default Exclusive: Avs games to be on TV for all in first round

All Avalanche first-round playoff games will be on television for all to see in the Denver area, industry sources tell Colorado Hockey Now.

Usually, Altitude has territorial rights for first-round Avs playoff games – meaning they would be blacked out to non-subscribers – but those restrictions have been lifted for this year, sources said. In Denver, there has been a nearly two-year-long stalemate between Altitude and Comcast/Dish Network over carriage fees, with Comcast/Dish subscribers unable to see Altitude and their broadcasts of Avalanche and Nuggets games.

But the Avs’ games will be on various NBC properties for the first round, and cable subscribers who get those channels – which is the vast majority of people – will be able to see the games against the St. Louis Blues.
