Didn't get a win again tonight but always good to get a point on the road.

Face offs seem to be killing this team.
Giving up 5+ PP a game is killing this team. Plus the OT is awful. That was a really bad call on MacKinnon, but he should never let his guy just stroll in behind him like that.
And Varley gave up 2 goals on 2 shots in the OT (the 3rd I don't count because Zibby couldn't even get a shot off). He may have won us that point, but that was a shitshow of a shootout.
I always get excited when there's a shootout, but that was beyond disappointing.
Marc Moser. Folks that listen to the radio seem to really like him, but I haven't been impressed.
He took over for Mike Haynes. I'm really not sure what happened there, didn't really look into it.
edit; Just looked it up. Haynes resigned, looked like it might have been due to health concerns.
To my untrained eye, it would seem the Avalanche were playing poorly there.
There's been pockets of poor play. The penalties are really bad. Both in getting them and how ticky-tack they seem to be.
But overall, I think the avs are basically dominating. They easily dominated that 1st period and ended up being down 1-0 because of a bad penalty.
The second is a bit more evenly matched and yet they tied it up.
They've missed a lot of open nets, but the Devils have also hit the post like 4 times.
Overall, I'd say considering how good the Devils are, they are doing well.
