    Yes but two shorties!
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

More shorties than the players family section at an NBA all star game!

Wow Varly kept them in that game....15 shots to 43 that's just crazy. Two short handed goals.. I blown away how they have played these last 3 games.

I'm not really surprised by the shot differential given the penalty differential, but yeah, 15 to 43 is sorta nuts.

As Peter McNab said, Varly definitely stole that game.

Default Jury sides with Semyon Varlamov in civil case, awards Avs goalie $126k

Semyon Varlamov's lawyer says Evgeniya Vavrinyuk wanted to make $1 million by suing the Avalanche goalie

The jury in the civil trial of Evgeniya Vavrinyuk against Colorado Avalanche star Semyon Varlamov sided with the goalie Tuesday and awarded him $126,000 in damages.

After the decision, Varlamov's lawyers said Vavrinyuk's claims were "groundless and completely unsupported" and said the goalie is looking forward to returning to the ice.

During the closing arguments, the lawyers said Vavrinyuk was either the victim of a beating by a drunken, out-of-control Varlamov, or a greedy conniver, thirsting for vengeance, and a million dollar pay off.

I think he plays better than Varly. Could have a nice piece for trade either way

I think Pickard is this team's future in net. I don't see anyone having much trade interest in Varley because of his off-ice issues (which thankfully came to a close) but you never know. If a team with a top defenseman is willing to make a deal for Varley, I say take it NOW. Pickard can be a top ten goalie IMO.

he looks good, the only question would be his ability with a number 1 workload.

I hope pickard is not the future. He's a solid number 3 and and iffy number 2. He's not a number 1 goalie in the NHL.

Teams would trip over themselves to trade for Varley, I'm not sure what makes you say that SR. The off ice stuff is ancient history. Especially since he just won the civil suit against him.

The kid has started less than 20 games. Look at his numbers from last season. He's a stud.

I've seen him play. A small sample doesn't prove anything really either way. He's pretty decent, and has had some pretty solid games. I still don't see him being an NHL #1 anywhere.
