You have to be stoked about UVA.

What a convincing way for the Avs to close this series.

Default THE official Colorado Avalanche/NHL thread!!!

Congrats to the Avs. Seems like having the higher seed is meaningless this year.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

When you actually peak in the playoffs it's a beautiful thing. This team has a real chance to do something special.

Agreed. Goalie is playing well and team seems unified behind solid coach. Bednar is impressing me, I'd like to hear from the experts what they think about the job he is doing.

I've loved the way we look but I'm not yet convinced. If gru keeps it up, then we do have that shot. But I worry about a bigger physical team pushing us around.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I know I am fluctuating between wanting the Knights or Sharks to win. My gut says Golden Knights but they are a tough team. Sharks pushing them to a game seven makes them scary as well.

From what i have heard both the Knights and Sharks are tough physical teams that U29 has mentioned. But i guess the good news is the Sharks/Knights are killing each other in their series so hopefully whoever wins will be dog tired when they get to us.

I watched a lot of game six San Jose/Vegas yesterday and neither one of those teams seem overly physical. No more so than Calgary. Nashville is the team that still scares me the most. They dominated the Avs physically last year. Colorado has never had much success against San Jose and I think Vegas is a better matchup for Colorado...fast, finesse, etc.

Well, Nashville is out. That's good. Game seven San Jose/Vegas tonight. Should be a good game!

If Seguin can re-gain his 2018 form, they'll be in business. He was a BAMF last year but his numbers dropped off quite a bit this year.

Him and Benn both. Doesn't help morale when your team President and owner call you out like they did in the middle of the season. But yes...if they can step up like the second line did in the Nashville series, we'll be in good shape. That and Bishop staying healthy for 4-7 more straight games.
