Typically Game 7 OT in the NHL Playoffs is as good as it gets. But not when you've squandered four leads to get there.

The last 7 minutes were played almost exclusively on the Av's side of the ice. I kind of expected the Wild to tie it.

This ends badly.

I figured it would be bad if they scored. Their backup goalie came in ice cold at what, the 7 mnute mark? And we couldn't even get a shot to test him?

It was a great series. Minnesota was the better team.

Its gotta suck to be a sharks fan... Every year its the same thing, great season followed by a 1st round exit. To be up 3 games to none and drop the series, what an epic meltdown

I dont know if the wild were a better team but they did have a little more veteran presence on their team. Av's are young and have some highly skilled players, just need the experience.

For as disappointing as things were under Karl, I think they are going to be worse under Shaw. That organization is in the worst possible place.

Will be fun to watch this Avs team grow. Really disappointing game from Landenskog tonight.

Yup the ending was painful but the journey was amazing. They gained so much experience this whole season and will be that will make them so much more hungry in the future. The learned how to win again which is something that had been lost. Think about Barrie and how most of us would cringe when he got on the ice. Now he was a important player and it still sucks that one of their's took him out. It great to be a Avs fan again and I'll take this feeling any day over knowing they are out of it a month before the playoffs begin.... very, very proud of them and I look forward to next season.
