I have no idea how the NHL works, as far as fines. They felt that what Patrick did was worthy of a fine; however the Duck's coach reacted to what Patrick did, but I am not seeing where he was fined at all - he certainly was not "lilly white" in this.

He didn't physically damage anything. That's probably why he didn't get fined.

Why did you find it very interesting that I found it awesome? And, why do you think the Duck's coach did not get fined?

That's great. Coaches his very 1st NHL game and get's a 10K fine. Should be an interesting coaching career for the hothead.
