That's a good point.

Listened to most of the game online last night and caught the highlights on NHLN. Great game. Patty sure was fired up at the end. I loved seeing that.

It was so fun to see Matt happy....it's been a while. The Avs are relevant again, so cares what the W...whatever thinks!

SUPER enjoyable to watch an exciting and motivated Avs team again. I forgot how much I missed watching hockey.

To be fair if the role were reversed I wouldn't want them to pitch a goose and I'd be happy that we hot one with 5 sec left too.

Stepping dramatically from a darkened tunnel onto the Avs bench, Roy received a thunderous ovation that had a hint of "What took you so long?" to it. Avs fans, so hungry not only for wins but any buzz at all the last few years, had it supplied again from Roy's magnetic, confident aura.

The roars only got louder and more frequent as the game went on. If this were a Broadway debut, Roy's first night as Avs coach was "Guys and Dolls." The Avs routed the Anaheim Ducks 6-1.
