Another great play by Duchene sets up McGinn for the goal. Pushed Weber off the puck and fed it in front.
I took my kid to a skate and shoot. How did we do? Who was in net? How did he do? I saw we let in 5 goals but the d has been like crap and we spend a lot of time in the box
It was a highly entertaining game. Two of the goal shouldn't have happened against the Avs. The breakaway Nashville had was BAD defense by Elliot. One of their goals also deflected in off of Hejda. Duchene was an animal. He had a goal and two assists, although his goal was an offsides played that should have been whistled dead. See NHL.com for recap and highlight videos.

How about the goaltending? Who was in net and did they look good?
Thanks
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

rest - http://www.denverpost.com/frei/ci_22...look-from-ryanThe Avalanche's 2013 season is going so badly, maybe we should follow the modern fashion for disasters and give it a name. My choice is "Ogie," in honor of the notorious goon from "Slap Shot," Ogie Ogilthorpe.
Part of the Avalanche turmoil, of course, is fourth-year center Ryan O'Reilly's continued unsigned status as a restricted free agent. The Avalanche continues to have severe penalty-killing problems, and the franchise hasn't been able to come to terms with one of the top young defensive-oriented centers in the NHL — one who pitched in enough at the offensive end to lead punchless Colorado in points a season ago?
I'll keep typing and saying this until my fingers hurt and my voice gets hoarse: Pox on both houses for not negotiating professionally and reaching a compromise. Those who want to reduce this to "the Avs and/or the Kroenke ownership are cheap" are missing the bigger issue: This is about a wait-your-turn and slotting protocol. Get paid fairly, even lucratively, through the process ... and then the cash register rings even louder when you're about to reach, or reach, unrestricted free agency.

rest -http://www.denverpost.com/avalanche/ci_22629461/gabe-landeskog-talks-about-his-concussion-avalancheAvalanche captain Gabe Landeskog, in his first public comments since suffering a concussion Jan. 26, said Wednesday he is feeling good and is hoping to return to the lineup soon.
Landeskog skated for a sixth consecutive day Wednesday morning with no ill effects. He might participate in a full, contact practice Friday and travel with the team on the Avs' upcoming three-game California road trip.
"It's been feeling better and better," Landeskog said. "The hands aren't quite there yet and the feet aren't quite there, but I'm working on it and feeling better every day."

7th behind Duchene, Parenteau, McGinn, Mitchell, Stastny, and Hejduk. Hell, before last night Tyson Barrie AARON PULASHAJ had as many points as Jones. Tyson Barried had as many points in three games as Jones has had in 12. Just sayin'. I know he's your boy and all, but he's not a $4mil/yr guy at all.
I dont think hes a 4mill guy either. I honestly think he is a 3rd line winger with upside. He is just a lazy POS. But I like gloating about him anytime I can since you dislike him so much. (And yes, I do think he is as good as stewart and much cheaper) - Should be much cheaper, I cant control the avs stupid front office for giving him that much money.
