O'Reilly is average. He's a third line center on this team and right now I'm not sure he's better than John Mitchell. Sorry if that hurts Avs fans feelings. O'Reilly and Stewart aren't the same player. Stewart is a power forward goal scorer. O'Reilly is not and he has more in common with Datsyuk (minus the hands and skill) than he does Chris Stewart. Either way, not comparable. Kroenke doesn't have a hand in what the Avs are doing with O'Reilly. O'Reilly had 18 goals and 37 asists but was minus one on the year...Landeskog had three points less and was PLUS 20 as a rookie. Fact of the matter is that players like O'Reilly are a dime a dozen and the shit he's pulling is childish. As much as I don't like the Avs' front office, I don't like O'Reilly's camp either.

He's not a 3rd line c for us. But then again he is nothing for us. I was thinking he was a Rfa and if someone made him an offer and we refused we got a 1and 3 or something. Which is probably why no one has offered him jack squat.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

So O'Reilly would be on a line ahead of Stastny and Duchene (if he was on the team)? I think not. He was last year and Duchene was stuck playing wing. Right now he's having a solid season as a center.

If a team does offer him a contract, I think it'll be Columbus. They have three first round picks this year and can afford to gamble a little.

    Lets ****** hope they do!

He'd be 2nd line c. Dutchy is out of his head and in straight up beast mode. He's #1 and no one is knocking him or his line off.

I'd rather him play left out and ****. I'm sick of the bullshit with this team. We have a good enough goalie. We have a couple good forwards and a couple good defensemen. Go sign a top forward and a BAMF D-Man and win some goddamn games. IMO.

Default Avs' Gabe Landeskog resumes skating for first time since head injury

For the first time since suffering a likely concussion Jan. 26, Avalanche captain Gabe Landeskog skated Friday.

Landeskog, 20, skated for an unspecified length of time at the team's practice facility, with Avs medical personnel looking on. Neither Landeskog nor the team commented on where he is in his recovery. A team official described Friday's skating session as "going through the process" of recovery.

Luck is on our side. That was he of the wort pp I have ever ever seen and we still managed a deflection goal on our first shot with 20 seconds left or so on it.

Edmonton looks like the best team ever when they play Colorado.

    55 shots!

Avs had a 3-1 lead after one, late goal for Oilers, then it was all down hill. Tuurrrible.

I sure wish the Avs had a defenseman like Shea Webber.
