We stil have the coyotes and kings (fri/sat) night before the break. Win those two and da da da dayum we are sitting pretty.

I believe our first game back is against the fairy wings. I would love to see them not make the playoffs this year.

Know we have a couple left...just meaning that were picking up some consecutive wins now and finishing strong...

I hate them more than any other team in the NHL...in fact, I think that's a requirement if someone wants to call themselves an Avs fan.

There was a time when I hated them more than any professional franchise in any sport. The Todd Bertuzzi incident along with Crawford coaching the Canucks shot Vancouver right up to the top of that list. Now I hate them both equally.

Yeah, I did see that... If I ever saw that mother****** on the street I'd get in his face and heckle him mercilessly. Preferably in front of his wife and children. Hate is an understatement.

But I still hate the Canucks even though him and Crawford are gone.

I dislike the Wings a lot less than I used to. They have a lot of class act players like Datsyuk, Lidstrom, Zetterberg, etc. However, I still dislike them more than any other sports franchise in current existence.

Vancouver won tonight. We're tied in points and games played, but they hold the tie breaker over us, so technically they're in first.

Major win tonight, that was intense. Matty had a great game 2 goals. Clark, man is he a silent hero in so many games. Footer went down in the 1st and Hannan stepped up. Anderson is so solid. Glad I got to watch the whole game.

Another tough game against the Kings tomorrow night. Come on boys finish it up strong.

That break away with Verbada was just scary. Also Yandle is just getting stronger and stronger. Phoenix is the real deal this year. We still have to play them 2 more times there. It's going to be some tough games, so glad they won this one.

The commentators keep saying how business like the Avs were tonight. I like it. I like it that Paul S. is talking about just focusing on the Avs and not the Olympics.

Avs got shut out last night by LA...3-0. I guess Jonathan Quick is on his A-game going in to the Olympics. I'm sure playing a tough game against PHX Friday night didn't help our cause either. Vancouver is first in the division with 76 points and a game in hand.

It was just one of those nights. The puck hit the post multiple times. It was the 4th game in 6 days and they just looked tired. Plus Quick was on his A game and Kopitar was on fire.

I just hope that Minn can give Van a game today and that Van is thinking about the Olympics.
