You don't f*** with Kyle Cumminsky.
I got home in time to see the comeback and my stupid ass flips channels between the 3rd and OT and gets back as they are showing the replay of the game winner.
Cash money son.

AWESOME win. AND on top of the win, Stastny has five points in the last two games. We need him to get hot.
I was watching Forsberg videos like I do from time to time and came across this gem that I had never seen before. In all the years I've been watching hockey I've never watched someone dominate the game, be so strong on his skates, and flat out terrorize other teams like Peter Forsberg did. It's no wonder why his ankles are shot. Talent wise, ability wise, and skill wise, he was one of the best players to ever play in the NHL. I miss Forsberg.
Easily one of the best ever.
Thanks for posting that!
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
A lot of people will disagree that he was one of the best ever...but that's because so many people hated him so much because he was a dirty player. He had to be dirty because everyone was always gunning for him.
Nice win over Atlanta by the Avs tonight...
...sure not much of an OT - won it 9 sec in.
Would like to see this momentum continue into the break...
yep, but he was also a no bs player. I wouldnt call him dirty as much as if you are there expect to take a beating because he will dish it out. He will also initiate the contact first even though he is a forward. And he was not afraid to check anyone.
That physical nature combined with his god like prowess with the puck made people hate him, because one, you cant catch him, and two if you do he will knock you ass down while still mainting puck possesion.
He was just ruthless.

He was dirty. He dove, he took cheap shots, and he used elbows a lot. Peter Forsberg was dirty, but it was defensive dirty.
Exactly... He used to get absolutely mugged but refs wouldn't make calls because A.) He constantly seemed to be battling with someone and B.) He was so powerful and balanced that he'd turn the tables on the other guys and it wouldn't seem as bad. He was a little like Shaq in that regard--fouls that seem obvious on other players wouldn't get called against Shaq because he was so big and physical.
Do you guys know where to find any clips of his fights? He only had about 2 or 3, but he owned in one of them. Just like sakic did back in the day.

Look on youtube...
Can't go there when at work. That's why I asked.

I know he had scrums with Derian Hatcher, punched Dan Cloutier in the crotch, had a scrum with Sidney Crosby when he was with Philly, clocked Ward in the face in 98 in the playoffs...and a few others.
