Default Week 9 picks and upsets

Here we go. Its meds flamable thread

    Here are the games

    Favorite Line Underdog Not Used
    Tampa Bay (4-4-0) 3.5 Arizona (3-4-0)
    Tennessee (5-2-0) 4.5 Carolina (4-3-0)
    Cincinnati (2-5-0) 0.5 Buffalo (3-4-0)
    Detroit (5-2-0) 2.5 Denver (3-4-0)
    Kansas City (4-3-0) 2.5 Green Bay (6-1-0)
    New Orleans (3-4-0) 3.5 Jacksonville (5-2-0)
    San Diego (4-3-0) 7.5 Minnesota (2-5-0)
    Atlanta (1-6-0) 2.5 San Francisco (2-5-0)
    Washington (4-3-0) 3.5 NY Jets (1-7-0)
    Cleveland (4-3-0) 1.5 Seattle (4-3-0)
    Oakland (2-5-0) 2.5 Houston (3-5-0)
    New England (8-0-0) 5.5 Indianapolis (7-0-0)
    Dallas (6-1-0) 2.5 Philadelphia (3-4-0)
    Pittsburgh (5-2-0) 8.5 Baltimore (4-3-0)

First off my pick of the week is Tennessee over Carolina minus 4.5
The Pathers have no QB and I think Tenn will win 27-14.

    Next I like
KC over Green Bay minus 2.5

In the NFL it is hard to go on the road in a hostile environment on a Monday night and then go to another historical tough place to play
close game ......KNC 24 GB 20

Now my flamable game of the week

Philly at home plus 2.5 vs Dallas

I really think Philly can win this game. Division rivalry, good defense and if they win they are 4-4 and in the bad NFC, they can be a contender for a WC spot. Philly 24 Dallas 21

Now the game of the year.

As much as I think Indy has a chance, it will be hard and with the way NE has played all season long, I think they preval in a great game
    34-27. Indy is plus 5.5

    Med,

I thought the favorite was the 1st team listed. How come KC is shown as the favorite here?

Are you messing with my brain?

In my pool KC is favored. on the real spread on yahoo, KC Is favored by 2.5

Maybe I copied it differently in the past. the left ream is always the favorite in this pool

what are your picks my friend

I know you like NE to win 9-6. oh wait, does Tom Ramsey still play for NE and
    Jack Trudeau for the Colts

Med....I like your pick and I certainly hope you are right...

key factors in the game to helping KC win...

Pressure Favre....Allen,Johnson and Hali are more than capable...

but will they be able to? How many sacks has GB given up?

Also cover their WR....That I am not sure of...our corners are not

known for covering one on one...of course most of the time they are

    playing zone defense.

Protecting Huard....if he is able to find some open rec...Tony and D Bowe

that will help in the passing game...

But this is alot of "ifs"....

What will the Chiefs be able to do on Sunday

The Buffalo Bills are usually very successful against the Bengals. Marshawn Lynch has shown some real ability this year, and I do not look forward to playing against him. Lee Evans is a little monster as well, and I don't think Deltha or anyone else on our team can cover him. I think we will let the Bills score early and often and play out of sync the entire first half. Then in the second half we will click together as usual and make it a game only to lose another heart breaking game.

I like Buff in this game King. Sorry but your team defense is almost as bad as Denvers. I feel bad for Carson as I really like him but this team has clasically underachieved this year. Buff 24 Bengals 20 M Lynch for 125 and Lee Evans has a good day as well. Buff plays well at home as well.

At least your team has flashes of brilliance on defense. If you aren't the Ravens we can't stop you when we need to.

The score will be much higher then that, Buffalo 35, Bengals-1000
